Fig Tree Bush Camp is a luxury bush camp found in Zambia in a remote part of Kafue National Park. The camp is named for a massive fig tree that is situated in the middle of the camp. It is located on the dry banks of the Shishamba River, and consists of luxury safari tents that are perched on platforms that stand 3 meters above the ground. This provides stunning views out over the lagoon in front of the camp. The lagoon attracts a host of wildlife species that include elephant, zebra, hartebeest and zebra. Predators such as leopard, cheetah, lion and hyena prey on these game species. The lagoon is also home to hippo, crocodile and a host of bird species. Guests at Fig Tree can enjoy sitting around the campfire under the stars, listening to the sounds of the African bush.
