Crater Forest Tented Camp, Ngorongoro

Crater Forest Tented Camp is an eco-friendly safari camp located in a spectacular setting. The camp is found on the edge of the Ngorongoro Conservation Area in Tanzania, which is home to famous Ngorongoro Crater. The lodge is situated on a highland coffee plantation, at an altitude of 1800m, providing stunning views of the Ngorongoro Forest and the coffee plantation. The camp features just 15 spacious en-suite tents, each with hot-water showers and flushing toilets. The rooms have Africa-style fire-pots to stave off the chills in winter, and are raised on platforms to maximise the views. Relax on your private veranda, where you can enjoy complimentary tea and coffee or romantic sundowners, watching elephants roaming the forests and listening out for the roar of lions.
