Chundukwa River Lodge is situated on the banks of the Zambezi River, 25km upstream from the Victoria Falls in Zambia. It offers the best of both worlds: while only a 30 minutes’ drive to the Falls, the lodge is tucked away in a quiet riverine wilderness. For those wishing to do Chobe Day trips into Botswana or follow on from here for a safari holiday, the lodge is 40km from the Kazangula border. Chundukwa is an African bush-style lodge” with chalets built on stilts on the river. The lodge itself sleeps 12 guests, offering a tranquil space, making it a perfect retreat to relax either before or after a safari. It is also a destination in itself, and often-times guests choose to stay at the lodge for 4 or 5 days to unwind. Enjoy good food and company, soak up the beautiful surrounds, and marvel at the tranquility that comes from being right on the river bank. Chundukwa is about comfort, space, relaxation, adventure, fresh locally-sourced products, wholesome home cooking, and fireside stories under the stars. It is a true animal, bird, and nature lover's dream.
