Forming part of the Zambezi Queen's houseboat family, the slightly more affordable houseboats, the Chobe Princesses, explore the great Chobe River, and depart from very close to Kasane. These luxurious river boats capture the spirit and adventure of a bygone era in a contemporary African waterside setting. The boats explore up to 50 kilometers of the Zambezi and Chobe river systems and provide exceptional wildlife viewing, bird-watching and tiger-fishing opportunities. The Chobe River sits alongside the magnificent Chobe National Park, and the houseboats offer one the unique opportunity to experience superb game viewing from on board the boats rather than a standard safari in the back of a game viewing vehicle. The three Chobe Princesses have all recently undergone a major refurbishment. The entertainment decks has been completely revamped, air-conditioning has been added to all the suites, and the boats now have a contemporary look and feel that's similar to the much-loved and super-luxurious Zambezi Queen.
