Chada Katavi Camp in Tanzania’s remote Katavi National Park, is nestled in a woodland fringe with its 6 luxury tents facing out onto open plains. Each tent is private and peaceful, with striking views. The rooms’ features include large beds, verandas, wiring desks, and bathroom facilities. The gauze walls of the tents allow cool breezes in while keeping insects out. The main area of the camp has a lounge and library section, perfect for relaxing between safari activities and watching wildlife pass by. Meals are served in the dining tent, while a camp fire to the front of the camp is where guests gather for drinks, snacks and conversation. Game drives are the main activity at Chada, led by expert safari guides. Guided walking safaris are also offered, and are a great way to enjoy the wildlife of this amazing reserve.
