Camp Hwange

Camp Hwange is a classic safari camp and is situated in its own private concession, 3 hours drive from Victoria Falls. Camp Hwange is set deep in the Sinamatella area situated in the north of Hwange National Park, Zimbabwe’s largest park and truly one of its best. The main lodge is made up of a large open plan lounge and a dining area where all meals are served. The main camp has 8 chalets & can accommodate 16 guests. Accommodation is in large thatched Chalets with canvas and gauze sides and overhead fans. Beds are equipped with large mosquito nets. Geysers, fans and lighting in the rooms are all solar powered, lowering our environmental footprint. All chalets overlook a permanent waterhole. Each room has its own charging point for recharging all electronic equipment. Camp Hwange reverts back to the concept the original safari, whereby walking is the main activity and all big game is encountered on foot - a truly memorable wilderness experience.
