Zimbabwe has a staggering amount of natural resources and pristine wilderness. Geographically it is located at the heart of Southern Africa, landlocked with the Zambezi River forming a natural riverine boundary with Zambia. In full flood (February-April) the massive Victoria Falls the world's largest curtain of falling water. Zimbabwe boasts a variety of natural resources which include coal, chromium ore, asbestos, gold, nickel, copper, iron ore, vanadium, lithium, tin and platinum group metals and most recently, large scale diamond mining. Zimbabwe boasts several major tourist attractions, most notably Victoria Falls on the Zambezi River, which is shared with Zambia, located in the north west of Zimbabwe. The Victoria Falls National Park is also in this area and is one of the eight main national parks in Zimbabwe, largest of which is Hwange National Park.
