Blyde River Canyon Panoramic Tour
The Blyde River Canyon is the third largest canyon in the world- and the largest green canyon on earth. Situated in South Africa’s Mpumalanga province, as part of the stunning Panorama Route, the Canyon features breathtaking landscapes and spectacular views. It is over 30km long and approximately 750m deep, with the Blyde River winding and twisting along its base. Along with magnificent cliffs and dramatic escarpments, the Canyon also features numerous viewpoints and sites of interest along its route. On this safari day tour, you will be taken to several of these sites. You will visit God’s Window, a lookout point with jaw-dropping views; The Pinnacle Rock, an enormous freestanding rock that juts 30m into the air over dense forest; the famous rounded mountaintops known as the Three Rondawels; the Bourke’s Luck Potholes, which are fascinating geological formations; the dramatic Lisbon Falls; and Wonderview, the highest accessible viewpoint on the Route. Transfers are conducted in air-conditioned vehicles, with all entrance and conservation fees included in the package rate.
