Mhondoro Game Lodge

Situated in the centre of the malaria-free Welgevonden Game Reserve, Mhondoro Lodge is a first class luxury bush retreat. Guests are greeted at the gate with ice cold refreshments and a great selection of snacks and eats, before embarking on a forty minute game drive to the lodge. The lodge is positioned on a rocky hill side amongst the indigenous woodland and has breath taking views of the open plains. The lodge is extravagantly decorated and furnished. The main living area is made up of a well stocked library, comfortable lounge, a number of different dining areas (both indoor and outdoor) and a bar. Downstairs from the main deck and alluring pool are the gym and sauna facilities for those guests who wish to keep active and burn off the superb cuisine. The three course meals have a traditional flavour and are well prepared by accomplished and attentive staff. There are four detached luxury suites at Mhondoro and all have exceptional vistas of the bushveld landscape. The luxury Family Suite is double bed-roomed with a large lounge and private jacuzzi on its wooden deck.
